USB-C 27W Supported | Wuben Unveiled X1 Brightest LED Flashlight
Introduction
Since its introduction in August 2014, the USB-C port has become the dominant choice in electronic products, surpassing MicroUSB, DC, and even the Lightning port, owing to its exceptional performance, convenient plug-and-play design, and more compact size. This trend has reached its peak with the new iPhone 15 series, which uses a USB-C port.
In the portable lighting industry, flashlights that charge via a USB-C port are also becoming increasingly common. For example, we previously introduced the Wuben X3 Owl EDC Flashlight with 15W fast charging.
Recently, Wuben has taken a step further by unveiling the X1 Brightest LED Flashlight, which supports 27W USB-C fast charging—almost the same speed as the iPhone 15 Pro MAX! Additionally, it boasts an extraordinary brightness of 12000lm and comes equipped with an active cooling system.
Let's start with its appearance. The Wuben X1 adopts an ergonomic flat design, with overall dimensions of only 12.85 x 56 x 28cm. Its metal casing utilizes a special micro-arc oxidation process to enhance hardness, making it scratch-resistant and durable. It carries an IP55 protection rating and is available in black or white colors. The flashlight features a textured power button prominently placed on the body, accompanied by a red and blue dual-color indicator light that signifies different states based on colors and flashing patterns, providing a four-level battery status indicator.
In terms of illumination, the Wuben X1 is equipped with three powerful CREE XHP 70.2 LEDs, featuring three adjacent orange circular designs. For those unfamiliar, the CREE XHP 70.2 LED belongs to the ultra-high-power category, with a single LED capable of reaching up to 30W of power and a maximum brightness of 5000lm, showcasing impressive capabilities. The Wuben X1 drives three XHP 70.2 LEDs within a high-efficiency power range, achieving a maximum output of 12000lm, with a beam distance of up to 303m. It also supports a one-touch burst of maximum brightness, catering to both floodlight and long-range illumination.
The Wuben X1 offers seven lighting modes, including a turbo mode ranging from 12000-3000lm, high mode at 2600lm, medium at 1000lm, low at 400lm, and eco mode at 20lm. Additionally, it features strobe and SOS modes. Moreover, Wuben has thoughtfully designed an engineering mode, allowing users to customize the brightness of each mode according to their preferences, ensuring a highly personalized experience.
The powerful illumination inevitably generates considerable heat. To maintain low temperatures for the LED, battery, and circuits, the Wuben X1 utilizes active cooling technology. The bottom of the flashlight's head contains a high-speed waterproof fan, drawing in cold air from outside to cool down the device and dissipate heat, enabling the flashlight to maintain a constant output of 3000lm at a low temperature without reducing brightness, ensuring stable performance.
For ChargerLAB, the standout feature of the Wuben X1 is undoubtedly the waterproof USB-C port on the side of the body, supporting fast charging capabilities of up to 27W. It can be fully charged in as fast as 2 hours, swiftly restoring its battery life. In terms of battery, it houses two advanced 21700 lithium-ion cells, each with a capacity of 4800mAh, totaling 9600mAh, providing an impressive maximum runtime of up to 220 hours.
