UGREEN Launched The New 140W PD3.1 GaN Charger (2C1A)
As we all know, PD fast charging has different versions. Currently, the most commonly used is PD3.0 with 20V5A 100W, which is a little bit outdated in the face of the development of devices.
So USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) launched a new PD3.1, which still adopts the USB-C port, supporting higher power specifications, up to 48V5A 240W.
Recently, UGREEN launched a New 140W PD3.1 GaN Charger (2C1A), which adopts the new PD3.1 and is equipped with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port.
Its model is CD289, and the shell is painted dark green, with a technological design on the side.
UGREEN 140W has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, which adopts the new PD3.1 fast charging, supporting 28V5A 140W output, and is compatible with 100W PD3.0. The USB-C2 port supports 100W PD fast charging, and the USB-A port supports 22.5W fast charging with multiple protocols.
The UGREEN 140W can charge Macbook Pro 16 2021 with PD3.1 140W fast charging. For other devices supporting PD3.1, it works, too.
The foldable prongs make the charger easy to carry. It also supports 100-240V~50/60Hz, with perfect compatibility in different regions.
The two USB-C ports support simultaneous fast charging of two laptops with 65W, respectively.
When three devices are charged at the same time, it is automatically adjusted to 65W+45W+22.5W for fast charging of Android, iPhone, and Macbook devices together.
Its size is about 76 X 76 X 35 mm (2.99 X 2.99 X 1.37 inches), with a volume of 202.16cm³ and power density of 0.69W/cm³. It is smaller than the Apple 140W single-port charger and has more ports.
The package includes a new PD3.1 fast charging cable, which supports up to 240W power. In addition, the 1.5m long cable is very durable.
