UFCS Fast Charging Certified Products Exceed Eighty Models
In our previous articles, we've frequently mentioned the UFCS fast charging protocol, short for the Universal Fast Charging Specification. This is a relatively popular new fast charging protocol in China, while the rest of the world may not be as familiar with it. Today, let's delve into its associated products.
UFCS is a next-generation fusion fast charging protocol collaboratively developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), along with leading companies such as Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi. It aims to address the complexity and lack of compatibility among existing fast charging standards in the market. The positive impact of UFCS extends towards global energy conservation, green and low-carbon initiatives, and sustainable development.
Since the release of the UFCS fusion fast charging standard, the official organization Fast Charging Alliance has, during the first mobile terminal fusion fast charging product launch event in September 2022 and the first TC626 conference in April 2023, issued two batches of certificates. Furthermore, during the second TC626 conference on December 12, 2023, the first batch of UFCS trademark authorization certificates were issued. This influence has spurred the inclusion of more certified products. The latest data reveals that the number of UFCS fusion fast charging certified products has exceeded 80!

While advancing the standard, the TL Certification Center Co., Ltd under CAICT has developed an fusion fast charging functional certification plan. Their terminal laboratory, CTTL, has established a complete UFCS fusion fast charging test system, supporting terminal enterprises in preliminary design, research and development, and product selection for fusion fast charging products. This has laid a solid foundation for product production and testing certification services.
Currently, TL Certification Center and CTTL are conducting certification testing for fusion fast charging products. Simultaneously, to rapidly build and cultivate the fusion fast charging industry ecosystem and shorten the UFCS fusion fast charging research and development, certification cycle, CTTL has initiated UFCS pre-testing services in Shenzhen.
Summary of ChargerLAB
The Fast Charging Alliance is committed to uniting forces in the fast charging industry, integrating terminal charging technologies, establishing an fusion fast charging standard system, and promoting the convergence and unity of charging protocols and technologies.
In the future, as UFCS fusion fast charging technology continues to proliferate, its implementation in the product application stage will enter an accelerated phase. More and more companies and products will join the UFCS fusion fast charging family. This is crucial for building a community of shared interests in the industry chain, promoting the development of the fusion fast charging industry ecosystem, and enhancing user experience.
