SHARGE - The World's Smallest 90W 3-port Charger is The Only Charger You Need
In March, Sharge released their first 65W 2C1A GaN charger. The sharp aesthetic has been well received by many users after its launch.
Since many users liked the appearance of the 65W, the latest 90W from Sharge maintains the edged appearance and cold surface design of the former. Both chargers come with a 2C1A, but the total output power has been increased to 90W, to meet the growing demand for the professional market.
The charger has three ports in 2C1A. The two USB-C port support blind insertion, that means both USB-C ports can achieve the maximum output power of 90W. The USB-A supports the maximum output power of up to 60W and also supports many fast-charging protocols on the market.
Sharge 90W 2C1A charger has a rectangular appearance, and was made specifically to fit in your pocket. The advantage of the GaN charger is very obvious, as it is smaller than the original Apple 96W single-port charger by 50%.
Dimensions: 58mm x 57mm x 31mm
Power density: 0.87W/cm³
Weight: 165g
The USB-C output port of the charger supports up to 90W output, which is more than enough for the most power-hungry laptops. The charger supports fast charging for iPhone, and when used, the iPhone was able to be charged to 50% power in just half an hour.
The Sharge 90W 2C1A charger is based on the PD 3.0 standard and supports five fixed voltage outputs: 5V3A / 9V3A / 12V3A / 15V3A / 20V4.5A. It also supports multiple other protocols such as PPS, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, and Apple 2.4A
To ensure the heat spreads evenly, the Sharge 90W charger uses a copper plate to allow the heat to be evenly transmitted across the charger to avoid heat accumulation. The copper plate also helps with the dissipation of heat, and enables the charger to feel cool. At the same time, the design of the textural shell increases the heat dissipation area and reduces the contact area of the human hand, so the charger can always keep at a low temperature.
An NTC temperature control probe is added inside the charger to monitor the charger's status throughout the charging process. When the heat reaches a set range, the charger will be adjusted from the original 90W to 75W maximum power output to ensure that the heat does not affect the experience.
The Sharge 90W charger supports 100-240V 50/60Hz global voltage input. Even if it is used elsewhere in the world, there is no need to worry about the different voltages, it also adopts a replaceable travel folding plug design. When putting it in your luggage, the different plugs can be stored separately to avoid damage to them.
In addition to the foldable plug design, the interchangeable travel plugs can support sockets in different countries and regions such as Britain, Australia, and Europe. It is extremely convenient for frequent travelers. The plugs are of top quality and can be used in public places such as airports and hotels.
The Sharge 90W 2C1A GaN charger is currently in pre-sale, the pre-sale price is ¥199 ($28), and if you bought during the pre-sale event, the charger comes with an additional 5A E-marker 100W braided cable. I think that this is a great choice, given the size and the usefulness.
