Protocol Test
We tested the protocols supported by the USB-A and USB-C ports.
The ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C shows the USB-C port can support FCP, SCP, AFC, QC3.0, QC5, SFCP, PD3.0, PPS, DCP, and Apple 2.4A charging protocols.
And it has five fixed PDOs of 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V3A, and 20V5A, and a set of PPS, which is 3.3-21V3A.
The ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C shows the USB-A port can supply SCP, AFC, QC3.0, VOOC, MTK, DCP, and Apple 2.4A charging protocols.
Compatibility Test
Next, let's see the charging compatibility of the USB-C.
Use any USB-C port to charge the Meizu 21, ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C shows the power is about 17.87V 2.99A 53.37W. The PPS protocol is triggered.
From this chart, it can be seen that the voltage of most phones can reach about 9V, and most game consoles and tablets can reach about 15V. Some phones that support the PPS protocol can reach a voltage of about 18V. All laptops tested can reach about 20V.
We have compiled the test results into a bar chart. The highest charging power is 92.08W of the 16-inch MacBook Pro M1 Max. The power of the Meizu 21 and the nubia Z30 Pro is 53.37W and 51.33W, respectively. The charging power of other devices remains in the ranges of 15W, 18W, and 27W. It has no compatibility issues and can provide fast charging for most devices.
Control by App
Search the EHOM's app in the app store and connect the power station via Bluetooth. Then, you can control the power station through the application.
The upper part of the main page of the application shows the remaining battery capacity. Below are the outputs of each port and their switch sliders.
After entering the settings, you can make advanced settings such as charging power and standby time. It also supports OTA (Over-the-Air Technology).
SpurFlux Technology
It features SpurFlux technology. When the rated power of the electrical appliances is greater than its rated power, it can automatically reduce the output voltage to reduce the load to prevent it from being overloaded.
We used an induction cooker with a rated power of 2400W during the test. Due to SpurFlux technology, the output power was 1710W.
Real-World Usage
AC outlet output
The AC outlet can support a power of up to 1650W. It can meet the power needs of high-power appliances such as kettles, electric frying pans, and induction cookers.
It also has the trickle output mode which can power CPAP machines.
Car Port Output
Its car port can support an output of up to 96W that can power the car refrigerator.
It can be seen that the power at this time is about 51W, which can meet the power supply needs.
USB Output
The power station is equipped with two USB-C and three USB-A ports. The USB-C and USB-A ports have independent power supply designs. When powering five devices at the same time, the output power will not be affected by other ports.
It can be seen that the power at this time is about 185W.
Total Output
It has a car port, five USB ports, and three European AC outlets. It can connect up to 9 devices at the same time for power supply. So we connected a coffee machine, an electric frying pan, a CPAP machine, a car refrigerator, and five other devices to the power station during testing.
It can be seen that the power at this time is about 1792W. The three icons in the lower left corner correspond to USB-C, USB-A, and the car port.
Noise Test
It supports the QuiteQuiet technology. The noise when working is lower than the similar products.
When the output power is about 825W, that is, 50% load, the noise meter shows a noise of 36.5dB at a distance of about 1 meter.
When working at full load, that is, the output power is 1650W, and the noise meter shows a noise of 40.3dB at a distance of about 1 meter. Its noise control performance is excellent.
Charging Test
Input Ways
In addition to multiple output ways, it can also support multiple input ways.
First, it can be charged by the wall outlet. Using the included high-power power cord, the maximum input power can reach about 1159W.
It also can be charged by the car charger. When the input is 24V 4A, the power is about 105W. When the current increases to 8A, the power is about 192W.
Still charging through the car charger, when the input is 12V 4A, the power is about 49W. When the current increases to 8A, the power is about 96W.
It can support an input power of up to 400W by solar panel. It can be fully charged in 3.3 hours at the fastest.
Full Charging Test
It supports the NitroGo fast-charging technology that can be charged under 220V AC, and the power can be up to 1200W. We charge it with the original high-power power cord and record the data with the PA300 power meter.
We plot the data into a curve to see how fast it can be charged. It can be charged to 50% in 28 mins, 80% in 45 mins, and 100% in 1 hour and 13 mins.
Discharging Test
Let it continue to output at 1600W until the power is exhausted, and record the data. The test results are as follows.
It can be seen that when the power bank continues to output for 14 mins, the remaining power is 50%. After 20 mins of output, the remaining power is 30%. And the remaining power is exhausted at 28 mins.
After the power is exhausted, immediately use the original high-power power cord to charge it. The test results are as follows.
At this time, the input power is displayed as 307W.
