Perfect Collab between iSmartWare SoC Single-chip Solution and Anker PowerIQ 4.0
Recently, Anker held a new event and released several new fast charging products.
It also announced many core technologies like the GaNPrime multi-device fast charging system, the Real-Time Protection With ActiveShield 2.0, Intelligent Charging with PowerIQ 4.0 and many others.
The output power distribution of multi-port chargers on the market mostly uses a fixed distribution strategy. When the laptop is charged with smartphones, TWS headphones and other devices simultaneously, the charger will reduce power, affecting the charging efficiency.
This updated version of PowerIQ actively monitors all plugged-in devices and instantly makes dynamic adjustments. If you're charging a phone and a laptop simultaneously, but the battery on your phone is almost at zero, PowerlQ 4.0 will allocate more power to juice up your smartphone faster while continuing to charge the laptop at a slower but steady pace.
This dynamic power distribution technology that detects every second and automatically adjusts every 3 minutes effectively saves up to 1 hour of the total charging time. Besides, the PowerIQ 4.0 is compatible with over 1000 devices, making it possible to charge all devices with one charger.
To achieve this groundbreaking charging technology, Anker had a deep collaboration with iSmartWare. The iSmartWare cooperated with Anker to exclusively launch the industry's first SoC single-chip solution for high-current and high-voltage DC-DC integrated PD fast charging protocol.
ChargerLAB has learned that the SoC single-chip solution is SW3536, supporting a wide range of fast charging protocols, including private ones. Its built-in synchronous buck converter supports up to 20V7A 140W output and 3.3-21V 6A PPS fast charging output. The solution can be paired with GaN FETs for smaller sizes and higher efficiency to meet the charging needs of high-power devices fully.
The chip greatly simplifies the hardware circuit design, improves the power density of multi-port charging products and improves the energy conversion efficiency of the module. Compared with the traditional solution, the energy consumption is effectively reduced by 40%. At the same time, it supports Anker's own dynamic power distribution technology. It dramatically optimizes user experience and ensures safety in real-time.
As the most powerful product in the GaNPrime lineup, the Anker 747 Charger (GaNPrime 150W) can charge four devices simultaneously with the support of the iSmartWare SoC single-chip solution. In addition, the new Anker 120W and 65W charger and the USB Power Strip (GaNPrime 65W) are equipped with the SoC single-chip solution to meet users' needs for multi-device fast charging.
