Introduction
All Apple iPhone 12-15 series phones have received official Qi2 certification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). The upcoming iPhone 16 series, set to launch later this year, will also support Qi2 wireless charging, heralding new opportunities in the Apple wireless charging accessory market. Numerous well-known accessory manufacturers have achieved Qi2 certification for their new products, with many more Qi2 products set to launch soon. The statistics of Qi2-certified wireless charging products from the Wireless Power Consortium are as follows:
As of July 1, 2024, a total of 363 products have received Qi2 certification, including phones, modules, desktop chargers, car chargers, multifunctional wireless chargers, and power banks.
Among these, desktop chargers have the highest number of Qi2 certifications with 102 products, followed by multifunctional wireless chargers with 84 products, and car wireless chargers with 69 certified products.
A pie chart of Qi2-certified product types shows that desktop chargers, multifunctional wireless chargers, and car chargers are the top three categories, accounting for 28%, 23%, and 19% of the total, respectively.
In June 2024 alone, 90 products received Qi2 certification, marking an increase in certifications compared to previous months, indicating an overall upward trend in Qi2 product certifications.
A total of 164 brands have obtained Qi2 certification. Apple leads with 16 certified iPhone models from the 12/13/14/15 series. Belkin and Loowoko also have 16 certified products each, tying for the top spot. Anker and MGCTECH follow with 12 certified products each. CE-LINK ranks third with 8 certified products.
