Nanshin Technology announced the launch of its new product, the SC8911 fully integrated synchronous bidirectional buck-boost charging chip. Designed for 2-series battery 30W power bank applications, the SC8911 aims to improve charging efficiency and user safety by reducing the temperature rise of the shell during operation.

The SC8911 comes equipped with an I2C interface, enabling easy communication for integration into various devices. It supports multiple charging modes, including trickle charging, pre-charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging, and automatic termination. The chip also features OTG reverse boost functionality, making it compatible with a wide range of charging and power transfer applications.

One of the key advantages of the SC8911 is its ability to enhance efficiency while reducing the overall Bill of Materials (BOM) costs and the size of the BOM. By consolidating multiple charging functions into a single chip, it simplifies the design of power bank devices and reduces the number of components required, which can lead to lower production costs and improved reliability.

This launch further strengthens Nanshin Technology’s position as a leader in providing innovative solutions for consumer electronics. The company continues to focus on advancing technologies that meet the growing demands of modern devices, offering high-performance and efficient products for a range of industries.
