Mophie’s Powerstation Hub Packs a Battery with Wireless Charging in a Charger
Popular accessory maker Mophie today announced its new Powerstation Hub Portable Battery. The Powerstation Hub joins Mophie’s other Powerstation accessories and packs a 6,100mAh battery as well as a Qi-enabled wireless charging surface and AC power prongs.
The Powerstation Hub is similar to the Anker PowerCore Fusion, which Apple began selling a version of at its retail stores earlier this year. The Powerstation Hub is a USB-C and USB-A wall charger that doubles as a portable battery, but also has the added benefit of featuring a Qi charging surface.
Mophie’s 3-in-1 accessory allows users to charge up to four devices at once with two USB-A ports, including one Quick Charge 3.0 15W port and one 5W port. There’s also USB-C PD port with 18W output and input, and Qi-enabled wireless surface that charges at 5W.
The Powerstation Hub packs a 6,100mAh battery inside. It recharges when it’s plugged into the wall using the foldable AC power prongs, or via the USB-C port if you’re on the go. In terms of design, it comes in at 3.31 inches square by 1.16 inches thick, though Mophie hasn’t commented on how much it weighs.
The Powerstation Hub from Mophie is available now for $99.95 through the company’s website.
