Metal Shell | Introducing the Brand New POWER-Z C240
About half a year ago, ChargerLAB launched the cost-effective POWER-Z AK001 test cable, which offered real-time display of voltage, current, and power at a price as low as $29.99. Although this product received unanimous praise from users, some people may think that it is limited to specific cables during the test. As for the more comprehensive KM003C, it is a bit expensive.
So today, we proudly introduce a brand new tester - POWER-Z C240, which not only addresses the aforementioned issues at the same price of AK001 but also brings a few additional advantages. Let's take a closer look!
And we also made a unboxing video for it, you can click the link above to check it out.
Compared to our own products, the ChargerLAB POWER-Z C240 tester offers many basic functions like voltage and current measurement at a much lower price than the KM003C, and it has a relatively narrow design, resembling a mini version of the KM003C, making it even more portable. When compared to the AK001 at the same price, it boasts a larger 1.14-inch IPS color display, providing clearer visibility of various testing information.
The front panel follows the classic all-black design of KM003C, with the USB-C output port on the left, the "POWER-Z" logo on the right, and the USB-C input port on the right. For users familiar with KM002C/3C, there is zero learning curve. Additionally, you can use a USB-C to USB-A adapter (not included) to test USB-A devices.
The first line of the color display shows real-time voltage, the second line shows real-time current with an indicator of the current direction on the right side. This means it supports bidirectional current, allowing you to detect both the discharge status of power banks and the charging performance of chargers. The third line displays charging power. At the bottom, you can find D+, D-, CC, charging timer, and accumulated energy input (Wh). This tester supports voltage up to 50V, current up to 6A, and a maximum power of 240W, perfectly catering to the testing needs of the vast majority of smartphones, tablets, laptops, including the latest PD3.1 protocol with 140W.
The size of this tester is 36.7 x 23.7 x 7.8mm (1.44 x 0.93 x 0.31 inches) and it weights only 11.8g (0.42 oz)。
Flip to the back, it features a durable metal shell crafted with CNC machining, giving it a premium and high-end feel. Additionally, compared to competing products in the $30 price range, the metal shell ensuring its integrity even if accidentally dropped. Furthermore, the matte texture ensures a comfortable and delicate feel. Some basic specs information is also here for a quick start guide.
It also comes with a transient voltage suppressor, which effectively prevents the impact of surge current fluctuations on the test, ensuring stability and safety.
The highly anticipated POWER-Z C240 is finally here, and it's officially up for grabs on Amazon US at a price of just $29.99. If you're interested, don't hesitate to click on the convenient buying button located at the beginning or end of the article to get one.
