iQOO Neo9 Pro Charging Test - ChargerLAB Compatibility 100
Introduction
Not long ago, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Neo9 Pro, featuring the flagship Dimensity 9300 chip, which, judging by the performance of vivo's smartphones with Dimensity chips, is expected to deliver top-notch gaming experiences. Of course, we got our hands on this product at the earliest opportunity.
Afterward, we created a ChargerLAB Compatibility 100 video for it. Through the video, we aimed to offer viewers a full understanding of its capabilities. Now, we're presenting this information in written form to provide a more detailed insight into its charging compatibility.
Charging Compatibility Test
Next, ChargerLAB will conduct a comprehensive test on the compatibility of the Infinix Note 30 Pro, evaluating its performance with a selection of more than 100 charging devices. These devices include original chargers, third-party chargers, power banks, and portable power stations, aiming to cover the majority of users' charging scenarios.
Original Chargers
While we only included iQOO chargers in this segment, the results are also applicable to vivo chargers since iQOO is a subsidiary of vivo.
Firstly, according to the ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C, the power is 18V 5.67A 102.01W when charging with the included 120W charger (model: V-12060L0A0-CN).
Summarizing the compatibility test data for various iQOO chargers, it's evident that the iQOO Neo9 Pro can trigger the proprietary voltage level. With different types of 120W and above chargers, the charging power can reach close to 102W, demonstrating impressive performance.
Drawing a bar graph, it's noticeable that the charging power of three 120W chargers and one 200W charger is approximately 102W, while the power of the 80W charger reaches 68W, which is very commendable.
Third-Party Chargers
In the third-party charger section, taking the Aohi 140W charger (model: AOC-C012) as an example, it can provide a power of 8.28V 3.97A 32.89W for the phone.
Summarizing the compatibility test data for third-party chargers paired with Dual USB-C original cables, we can see that the majority trigger a 9V voltage, with the current ranging from 2 to 4A.
The bar graph section clearly shows the power distribution of each charger, divided into segments of 11W, 18W, 25W, 30W, and 35W. It's evident that this phone's charging compatibility is excellent. Additionally, it supports high-power PD and PPS fast charging, with the highest measured charging power reaching 36.33W, providing users with an excellent third-party charging experience.
Power Banks
When charging with the Anker GaNPrime 140W (737), the power provided to the iQOO Neo9 Pro is 44.9W.
Summarizing the data in a table, except for the MOMAX wireless power bank, all trigger the 9V voltage level. Among the tested power banks, the Anker GaNPrime 140W (737) has the highest power, at around 44.9W.
In the bar graph, it can be seen that the charging power remains between 9-45W. It's surprising that the top-ranking Anker GaNPrime 140W (737) is nearly twice as fast as the second-placed power bank.
Power Stations
Finally, in the power stations section, the ZEEKR 1200W USB-C can provide 21.64W of power to the iQOO Neo9 Pro.
Summarizing the data in a table, it can be seen that all tested power stations trigger the 5V and 9V voltage levels.
Plotting the charging power data into a bar graph, it can be observed that the charging power for the iQOO Neo9 Pro remains between 8-22W.
Summary of ChargerLAB
In terms of charging performance, testing the iQOO Neo9 Pro with original chargers shows that the charging power of 120W and 200W chargers is comparable, both reaching around 102W. Additionally, the iQOO Neo9 Pro smartphone supports high-power PD and PPS fast charging protocols. For third-party chargers, the output power can reach around 36W, surpassing some previously tested iQOO and vivo smartphones.
The iQOO Neo9 Pro successfully passed the ChargerLAB Compatibility 100 Test. Below is the compatibility 100 test report issued by us.
