Hyper Crowdfunds for Its HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Power Hub with 4 Thunderbolt Ports
Hyper, the No.1 docking station brand in the U.S.A, which specializes in GaN chargers and power hubs, recently launched crowdfunding for the "HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Power Hub" on Kickstarter. It's a compact Thunderbolt 4 hub, which can turn one Thunderbolt port into three downstream ports.
For most laptops, the 96W charging power is more than enough to get by. For high-powered gaming laptops and 16-inch MacBook Pro, they may still lose power when charging. But you can still easily charge your other devices with the four 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 ports on the front (one 96W PD and three 15W).
It has good compatibility, supporting Thunderbolt 3 devices, Thunderbolt 4 devices, USB4 devices and USB-C devices.
The HyperDrive Thunderbolt 4 Power Hub will retail for $299, but early backers through the campaign will receive a special discount.
