Comparative Test of iPhone 16 Pro with Apple Chargers at Different Power
Introduction
The iPhone 16 series has been released for a while, and ChargerLAB has also conducted charging tests on four models at the first time. Today, we will use nine Apple chargers to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro for the comparative test.
Product Appearance
The front of the box shows the appearance of the iPhone 16 Pro.
The iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, up from 6.1 inches, and uses an all-screen Super Retina XDR display.
The USB-C port supports USB 3 transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s.
The inside of the USB-C port is laser engraved with A3294 China.

The 6.3-inch iPhone 16 Pro can still be easily held in one hand, and the overall grip feel has not changed much compared to the previous generation.
Full Charging Test
Next, we'll use the Apple 5W, 10W, 18W, 20W, 30W, 35W, 70W, 96W, 140W charger to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro. And put them into a 25°C (77℉) thermotank throughout the test.
The Apple 5W charger takes 7 hours and 16 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 10W charger takes 2 hours and 53 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 18W charger takes 2 hours and 8 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 20W charger takes 2 hours and 6 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 30W charger takes 2 hours and 2 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 35W charger takes 2 hours and 3 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 70W charger takes 2 hours and 4 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 96W charger takes 2 hours and 3 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Apple 140W charger takes 1 hour and 59 minutes to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro.
Summarizing all the data in a line chart, it can be seen that the curves of 18W-140W chargers are almost the same. The 5W and 10W chargers took 7 hours and 16 minutes and 2 hours and 53 minutes, respectively. In general, the 18W-140W charger takes about two hours to fully charge the iPhone 16 Pro. So, we recommend using an Apple charger of 18W or above.

These are all the tests of Apple's nine chargers: 5W, 10W, 18W, 20W, 30W, 35W, 70W, 96W, and 140W. It can be seen that the curves of chargers of 18W and above are almost the same. At the same time, there was no disconnection or damage during the test, so it can be used with confidence. ChargerLAB recommends using chargers of 18W and above, and you can also turn on the "Optimized Battery Charging" function to avoid overcharging.
