Anker Launches 140W 4-Port PD 3.1 AC Adapter with USB-C Cable and Power Display
Anker has unveiled a new 140W wall charger featuring a built-in display that shows the power output for each connected device. This charger includes three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, allowing users to charge up to four devices simultaneously. Two of the USB-C ports can each deliver up to 140W when used individually, suitable for high-power devices like laptops. The third USB-C port offers up to 40W, and the USB-A port provides up to 33W, accommodating a range of gadgets from smartphones to tablets.
The charger's design positions all ports on the underside, enhancing stability when plugged into wall outlets. This layout helps prevent the charger from becoming dislodged due to the weight of connected cables. The integrated display provides real-time information on power distribution, enabling users to monitor the charging status of their devices easily.
Anker's 140W wall charger is powered by gallium nitride (GaN) technology, which allows for a more compact design and improved energy efficiency compared to traditional silicon-based chargers. The charger supports USB Power Delivery 3.1, ensuring compatibility with a wide array of devices and facilitating faster charging times.
This new charger is set to be available starting January 7, 2025, priced at $89.99. It joins Anker's lineup of high-power charging solutions aimed at providing efficient and versatile options for users with multiple devices.
