Anker Announced Its New 737 Charger (GaNPrime 120W)
Recently, Anker announced the new 737 Charger (GaNPrime 120W), which adopts the world's first HFB topology jointly developed by Anker and Infineon, and is equipped with Power IQ4.0 Dynamic Power Distribution, together with Anker's self-developed mini-transformer.
This is the Anker GaNPrime fast charging lineup.
Anker 737 Charger (GaNPrime 120W)
The new Anker 737 Charger (GaNPrime 120W) has a metallic silver output panel and a gray and black shell. It has a blue receptacle, two USB-C ports, and one USB-A port, and the three ports support fast charging.
The two USB-C ports are marked with Power IQ 4.0 LOGO, the latest Anker fast charging technology, which supports full-time dynamic power distribution, enabling real-time adjustment of the power distribution strategy every 3 minutes. The top port is also printed with a computer LOGO. Either USB-C1/C2 port can support up to 100W output separately.
The "ANKER" trademark and the "GaNPrime" are printed on the side of the charger, indicating that it adopts the latest ANKER GaN system, which has superior performance compared with earlier GaN solutions.
The foldable prongs are American standard, which support 100-240V, and are compatible in different regions worldwide.
There are the parameters.

Its size is about 32.07 X 43.06 X 80.22 mm (1.26 X 1.69 X 3.15 inches), with the volume of 110.78cm³ (6.76 in³) and power density of about 1.08W/cm³. It is 40% smaller than the Apple 140W charger and weighs only 194.9g (6.87oz). It has a better performance and smaller size.
Anker GaNPrime
The new Anker GaNPrime system has improved the whole performance of the charger.
The ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM002C finds that the USB-C1/C2 port support four fixed PDOs of 5V3A / 9V3A / 15V3A / 20V5A and one PPS of 3.3-11V5A.
The three ports also support USB PD fast charging, FCP, SCP, AFC, QC3.0, APPLE2.4A and other common fast charging protocols, compatible with 1000+ devices.
PowerIQ 4.0 Technology
Anker's exclusive PowerIQ 4.0 technology features Dynamic Power Distribution, which detects the power needs of connected devices and adjusts power automatically to ensure faster, more efficient charging, enabling real-time adjustment of the power distribution strategy every 3 minutes.
HFB Topology
The HFB Topology is the hybrid flyback topology launched by Infineon. It is a solution with higher integration and higher efficiency by combining the traditional flyback topology with the resonant switch power supply and using half-bridge GaN components.
The Infineon XDPS2201 hybrid flyback controller is paired with the Infineon half-bridge GaN chip IGI60F1414A1L, which supports 400W.
The Infineon IGI60F1414A1L integrates two GaN FETs and corresponding drivers in the 8*8mm package, which greatly saves area and simplifies heat dissipation design compared to the traditional GaN FET solution.
The fully integrated design simplifies the circuit and also supports higher operating frequencies. The smaller transformer further enhances the power density of the fast charging charger.
