184 Car Chargers Achieve Qi2 Certification, Led by Peak Design, MGCTECH, and ESR
The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has updated its list of Qi2-certified products to include a total of 184 car chargers as of October 31, 2024. The Qi2 certification process is aimed at standardizing wireless charging across devices, enhancing compatibility, and ensuring efficient power delivery. This updated list underscores the widespread adoption of the Qi2 standard in the automotive charging space, where consumers demand stable, high-performance wireless charging solutions for their on-the-go needs.
Among the Qi2-certified car chargers, Peak Design takes the lead, securing the top spot with seven certified models. This achievement highlights Peak Design’s commitment to providing reliable wireless charging solutions that comply with the latest industry standards. MGCTECH and ESR follow closely, each with six Qi2-certified car chargers. These brands have consistently demonstrated their dedication to innovation and quality in wireless charging technology, ensuring they meet consumer expectations for stability and compatibility.
In addition to the leading brands, other companies have made significant strides in securing Qi2 certification for their car chargers. Brands such as Baseus, Anker, and Belkin each feature multiple certified models, contributing to a diverse selection of Qi2-compliant car chargers on the market.
